I have taught Special Education for the past 5 years and have grown up in the classroom since childhood. I have two wonderful children and am surrounded by children often.

I love allowing each student to be met where they are at and then encouraged to achieve more. I love to see the growth and progress that my students make and am inspired often at how hard they work.

I have a bachelor's degree in Child & Adolescent Studies and a Master's degree in Special Education, Mild to Moderate. I also regularly attend trainings and do my own research so that I can continue to grow and be the lifelong learner that I strive for my students to become.

I have been fortunate enough to be married for 15 years to my best friend. I have two amazing children whom I adore.
