Joni (Johnny) Ferguson has been teaching 23 years in Lake Elsinore and loves it more than ever! She strives to inspire her students to enjoy learning the way she does and to become life-long learners. In her classroom, everyone’s opinion is respected and there are not always correct answers or one way to solve a problem.
Mrs. Ferguson has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UC, Irvine and a Teaching Credential from Cal State, Fullerton. She recently completed her Master’s Degree at National University with a focus on educational technology. At EWE, she is the student study team chairperson, the PTA board secretary and administers the school-wide Accelerated Reader program.
In her spare time, Mrs. Ferguson loves to travel with her husband and two grown children. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, camping, ATVing, and boating. At home, she loves to relax and read with her two dogs, granddog, and a quirky cat that aspires to be a dog.
